Fashion Usually Imitates Art...

Fashion imitates art, so the saying goes, but in this instance art is imitating fashion... The Imaginary Foundation describes itself as a think tank from Switzerland, led by the “Director,” whose father founded the Dadaist art movement. The organization’s surreal art, originally found on an apparel line including tees and hoodies, eventually made its way to limited-edition prints suitable for framing. The prints are set on museum grade-paper in a limited run of just 500 pieces and will never be reprinted. Measuring 22″ x 28″, each comes with a certificate of authenticity, handwritten edition number and a special serialized holographic stamp from the Director. Three new prints — “The Beginning is Near,” “Mobius Art,” and “Cloud 9″ — are available now at Imaginary Foundation’s online store.
