Casa Solar Da Serra is a residence designed by 3.4 Arquitetura located on the calm outskirts of Brazil where residents choose to be closer to nature. Based on a site of natural preservation, the design worked with the uneven land which manifested in the concrete prism that simply rests on the slope of the ground. Horizontal in plan, the compact residence offers uninterrupted views, meanwhile each side of the volume opens and frames the tropical, mountainous landscape. Construction was approached with consistency where reinforced concrete was chosen for the materiality and structure.
