John Elliott returns this season with a handful of styles from both their Pre FW19 and Mainline collections. The label showcases their use of tie-dye techniques this season, first with the introduction of their Ink Bloom patterning. This tricolored is created using a two-dye process, first dying the garment white, then adding the hues of blue, yellow and red. The garment then receives an Ozone wash giving each piece a more water colored dye look. The second technique showcased is called Chusen, which we can see on the Solar shorts in army and teal. The Chusen process can only be found in Japan, and allows for a more controlled dye pattern. A couple other highlights from the collection include the Blackmeans rider jacket featuring a blue on black painted aesthetic as well as their Cast 2 Denim in Skittles. Shop the entire collection online and in-store.
