*Better With Age founder Remy Milchman always had an affinity for clothing. His parents were both lovers of fashion; his mom owned a chain of boutiques in South Florida, and his dad was the self-proclaimed ‘best-dressed man in the courthouse.’ The continual theme of fashion in his childhood home allowed him to express his creativity with clothing and shoes from a young age. 

 

Craving more creativity in his life after opening a very successful vintage shop, Remy Milchman dreamt of *Better With Age, a clothing brand utilizing only vintage garments rather than wholesale shirts. He knew that the fashion industry desperately needed more sustainable brands, and he felt like he had figured out how to make his dream come to life. *Better With Age is a representation of Remy Milchman’s identities throughout his life. The juxtaposition of the punk skateboarder and the environmentally conscious fashion school student is what this brand is built on. Somewhere in all of us lies a punk with a good heart. It’s the beauty of recognizing the good doesn’t exist without the bad.
