Founded in 1993 by Jun Takahashi, Undercover clothing exemplifies the meaning of “Japanese cool”. The Undercover brand is focused on producing apparel that draws inspiration from punk and street fashion. Takahashi was heavily influenced by British Punk rock band "The Sex Pistols" and lead singer Johnny Rotten of which he was told he resembled. By Takahashi's own definition Undercover is "strange, but beautiful". Takahashi and Undercover have won numerous awards and have been highly praised and coveted worldwide.
